Feature-length fiction and documentary films

The Los Cabos International Film Festival is currently accepting entries for its 2021 edition.

Please note that all submissions must be submitted directly to the festival.

Eligibility

Any fiction and documentary feature films will be eligible for submission to the competition if it meets the following prerequisites:

• Originated or co-produced with Mexico, Canada or the United States.
• Must have been completed in 2021.
• Must be a Mexican Premiere to be eligible.

The Los Cabos International Film Festival (CIFF) showcases about 40 national and international titles from Mexico, Canada and the USA. Competencia Los Cabos will award several cash prizes.

The festival also hosts an Industry Days event to increase collaboration and co-production between Mexican cinema and its North American cultural commercial partners. The organization brings together producers, directors, sales agents, and distributors of the film industry.

Telefilm Canada recognizes the selection of a feature film in the Festival for application to its International Festival participation Program.
