The Fantastic Fest is currently accepting entries for its 2021 edition.
Please note that all films must be submitted directly to the festival via FilmFreeway.
- Competitive: Yes
- Entry fees: Yes (varies according to the date of submission)
ELIGIBILITY
- Open to horror, fantasy, sci-fi, action feature and short films.
- Feature films must be +70 minutes. Shorts must be 30 minutes or less.
- Films must not have screened in Texas or online.
- Non-English-language films must be subtitled in English.

Fantastic Fest is the largest genre film festival in the US, specializing in horror, fantasy, sci-fi, action from all around the world. The festival is dedicated to championing thought-provoking cinema, celebrating new voices from around the world and supporting new filmmakers. It has become a reference for genre films, attracting media outlets and buyers. *The festival is planning towards a physical event, provided it feels it can execute the fest safely.
