The festival showcases several non-competitive sections such as IndieJunior (for a young public), Silvestre and Mouth of Madness (for unconventional topics, visual approaches or storytelling). Numerous awards are attributed including the Feature Film Grand Prize (10.000€); the Short Film Grand Prize (4.000€); the New Talent Prize; the Indie Junior Award (1.000€), the Amnesty International Award; the Audience Award; and a FIPRESCI Award.
The festival hosts activities that go beyond regular screenings – workshops, master classes, debates, screenings of works in progress for industry guests, networking events, etc.
Telefilm Canada recognizes the selection of a feature-length film at this festival and may provide assistance through the International Festival Participation Program.
