ABOUT
The Berlinale Co-Production Market is a five-day event for about 600 international producers, sales agents, distributors as well as broadcasting and funding representatives active in the field of co-production.
This forum is held during the Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale – February 16-26, 2023) – one of the most important film festivals worldwide – and the opportunities for establishing contacts are excellent, as industry professionals from all over the world attend the festival.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Important selection criteria for the feature film projects include: the artistic quality and the production and financing structure of the projects, their suitability for international co-productions and their potential appeal to the attending producers and financiers. Projects with a minimum of 30% of the financing secured and a budget range of 1-20 million (euro) are eligible.
For the Co-Pro Series, producers can submit first-season, non-procedural, visually strong drama series or miniseries projects in development for which they are looking for co-production and financing partners.
For experienced producers or financiers looking for new projects to co-produce or co-finance (not presenting their own projects), their companies must have completed at least one international co-production in the past three years.
For complete requirements and eligibility criteria, you can refer to the Co-Production Market website.
