ABOUT
Glasgow Film Festival (“GFF”) has grown greatly in visibility and significance in recent years and has leaped into the top three film festivals in the UK. The festival also organizes the “Industry Focus Programme” where panels and professional meetings are coordinated. The festival attracts over 43,000 attendances.
The festival accepts features from all over the world and programs strands for music features, documentary, films aimed at audiences under 25 years old, and experimental features. GFF is a non-competitive festival. The only award is the Audience Award given to a first or second-time director.
In 2023, BLACKBERRY, SAULES AVEUGLES, FEMME ENDORMIE, SOMETHING YOU SAID LAST NIGHT, and THE END OF SEX were amongst the Canadian films in selection.
Telefilm Canada recognizes the selection of a feature film at the Glasgow Festival and may provide support through the International Promotion Program.
