The Buenos Aires Festival Internacional de Cine Independiente is currently accepting applications for its 2023 edition. 

Please note that all films must be submitted directly to the festival.

ABOUT

The Festival of Buenos Aires, “BAFICI”, is organized by the Ministerio de Cultura del Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. The festival selects over 290 films and organizes a series of workshops and complementary events. Special attention is given to emerging filmmakers, innovative works and cinéma d’auteur. 

BAFICI attracts the local public and a large number of professionals including filmmakers, producers, distributors, festivals programmers and journalists.  

The program of the Festival will include competition and non-competition sections, including the  International Official Competition and the Vanguard and Gender Official Competition.  

Telefilm Canada recognizes a selection of a feature film in the Festival for applications to its International Promotion Program.
