The Torino Film Festival is currently accepting entries for its 2018 edition.
Please note that all films must be submitted directly to the festival.
- Submission Format: DVD, streaming link or uploaded file
- Competitive: Yes
- Entry Fees: No
Eligibility
- Films must have been completed after September 1, 2017;
- Film must not have been screened in Italy.
Competition:
- Narrative and documentary features;
- Films in competition must not have screened in Competition at major international film festivals: Cannes, Berlin, Locarno.
TFFDOC
- Competitive section that also presents out of competition screenings of feature length documentaries.
Non-competitive sections:
- ONDE focuses on experimental works of all length and formats;
- AFTER HOURS is dedicated to feature genre films;
- Short films may not be submitted and may participate by invitation only.
The Torino Film Festival is committed to new directors whose works reflect strong formal and stylistic research, but also screens works of well-established filmmakers. The Festival is recognized by FIAPF (International Federation of Film Producers Associations) as a Competitive Specialised Film Festival offering many awards.
CANADA AT TORINO: A considerable number of Canadian features and shorts were selected and have won awards in recent years.
Telefilm Canada recognizes selection in the Festival for application to its International Marketing Programme.
