ABOUT 

Established in 1985, the Warsaw International Film Festival is well established and recognized on the festival circuit. It programs films with a world, international or European status in five International Competitive sections for feature-length narratives, and documentaries. One competitive section is dedicated to shorts. The festival allocates numerous prizes (Audience, Ecumenical, FIPRESCI, etc.) as well as cash awards. It also showcases the Competition 1-2 reserved to debut and second features. 

Last year, ASOG and VALLEY OF EXILE were the two Canadian features selected at the festival. 

Telefilm Canada recognizes the selection of a feature film in this festival for application to its International Promotion Program.
