ABOUT

The Torino Film Festival is organized by the National Cinema Museum. It has established itself as a forum dedicated to supporting independent cinema, first and second works, documentaries and shorts.  

The festival which programs 120 films is divided into three competitive sections: Features (world or international status premieres required), documentaries (international or Italian premiere status required), and shorts. There is also an out-of-competition category dedicated to the most interesting films of the current year, and Zibaldone, a totally free and heterogeneous section, with titles of all kinds, without any restrictions on duration, or format. 

Canadian features selected at the festival in recent years:  Falcon Lake (2022), Soleils Atikamekw and Solo (2023).  

Telefilm Canada recognizes the selection of a feature film in the Festival for applications to its International Promotion Program
