Telefilm Canada is currently accepting entries on behalf of the Donostia-San Sebastián International Film Festival.
Information and registration process
The 66th Donostia-San Sebastián International Film Festival is one of Europe’s leading film festivals specializing in feature-length fiction films. Its role is to showcase the year’s most disquieting and innovative films to an audience of 150 000 and to 2 800 attending professionals, European and Latin-American industry and media representatives.
The festival has several competitive sections, and boasts many monetary prizes. The New Directors section, reserved to first and second features, has the Kutxa Award associated with 50,000€, and the Zabaltegi – Tabakalera section, which showcases films with unusual and surprising narrative and structure, carries an award of €20,000.
The festival has also specialized sections such as Culinary Cinema, with films related to food, gastronomy, science and agriculture, and the non-competitive Savage Cinema dedicated to adventure and action sports films.
