EAVE Producers Workshop 2026

CALL FOR ENTRIES   

(For feature-length fiction and documentary film producers) 

Telefilm Canada’s agreement with EAVE will allow for two Canadian producers to participate in the EAVE Producers Workshop 2026. 

Workshop 1 in Luxembourg, March 6-13, 2026 
Workshop 2 in Bolzano, Italy, June 2026 
Workshop 3 (Location TBD), October/November 2026 

Canadian applicants applying to attend EAVE Producers Workshop 2026 with a production project will automatically be considered for a scholarship granted by Telefilm Canada to cover the participation fee of €3,000 for each Selected Producer focusing on project development and/or Selected Producer focusing on career development.  

Accommodation and full board provided by EAVE are at the producers’ own cost (1700 euros per Workshop). 

Applicants will be eligible to apply for travel grants to cover part of their travel expenses to attend the workshops via Telefilm’s International Promotion Program

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA  AND APPLICATION PROCEDURE

  • Please refer to the EAVE website for information on the eligibility conditions and application procedure. Please note that all application must be submitted directly to EAVE. The interviews with a pre-selection of candidates will take place in autumn 2025 and the selection will be announced in December 2025. 
  • It is aimed for feature-length fiction and documentary film producers who are already working in the film and television industries who wish to begin to operate on a European wide basis by increasing their knowledge of producing and co-producing in Europe and by building up a pan-European professional network.

EAVE, European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs, is one of the leading training and development providers for producers in Europe, renowned for its EAVE Producers Workshop. 

EAVE is a residential workshop program with a strong focus on network building.  Each year fifty participants are selected from most of the EU countries and beyond and take part in three one-week-long workshops.  EAVE graduates join a unique network of active European producers which forms one of the backbones of the industry. Furthermore, EAVE participants and members benefit from our partnerships with the leading European film festivals and markets where EAVE facilitates graduate participation.
