The IDFA FORUM coproducing and financing market, running concurrent to the 36th International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam, is currently accepting entries for its upcoming edition.

ABOUT
IDFA FORUM is the International Documentary Film Festival international’s co-financing and co-production market, one of Europe’s largest gathering of filmmakers and industry representatives working on ground-breaking creative feature documentaries and new media projects. The festival annually welcomes some 295,000 visits, 3,300 professionals, and 40,000 students to Amsterdam, making it the largest documentary film festival in the world.
The FORUM offers 4 pitching session components:
- Producers Connection
- Forum Pitch Presentation
- IDFA DocLab Forum
- Rough Cut Presentations
- *The FORUM also offers the opportunity for several delegates to apply to attend as official observers to these pitching sessions.
Parallel to the festival and Forum is Docs for Sale, a marketplace (November 10-15, 2023) where producers and sales agents offer creative documentaries to buyers.
Telefilm Canada recognizes the selection of a feature film project in the Forum for application to its International Promotion Program.
