The Palm Springs International ShortFest is currently accepting applications for its next edition.  

Please note that films must be submitted directly to the festival.

ABOUT

  

The Palm Springs International ShortFest is one of the largest showcases of short-form cinema in North America. The seven-day competitive festival is Academy Award, BAFTA and Goya-qualifying, screening annually more than 330 shorts from approximately 60 countries.   

In 2022, 20 Canadian films were selected, including Falena (Nancy Pettinicchio), Fanmi (Carmine Pierre-Dufour, Sandrine Brodeur-Desrosiers), Nuisance Bear(Jack Weisman, Gabriela Osio Vanden), Pas de fantômes à la morgue (Marilyn Cooke) and more. 

Telefilm Canada recognizes a selection in the Festival for application to its International Festival participation Program.
