ABOUT
The Palm Springs International ShortFest is one of the largest showcases of short-form cinema in North America. The seven-day competitive festival is Academy Award, BAFTA and Goya-qualifying, screening annually more than 300 shorts from approximately 60 countries.
In 2024, 19 Canadian films were selected, including À toi les oreilles (A. Isabelle), Aphasia (M. Dalpé), A Crab in the pool (A. Myotte, J.S. Hamel), Making Babies ( E.K. Bouilianne), Motherland (J. Mozaffari), Mothers & Monsters (E. Jorisch), Outside Center (E. J. Tahchi), and Xie Xie, Ollie (J. M. Chiang), and more.
Telefilm Canada recognizes a selection in the Festival for application to its International Festival participation Program.
