ABOUT

True/False is a film festival focused on cinema constructed from reality. 

The festival offers a heightened long weekend of creative placemaking in which filmmakers, artists, musicians and others remake the mid-sized college town of Columbia, into a one-of-a-kind event.  

Each year the festival presents around 40 feature-length projects and 25 short works in one non-competitive program. The festival is open to mid-length films and series, as well as hybrid works.  

Telefilm Canada recognizes selection of a feature film as part of its International Promotion Program.
