Call for Entries

Project in development (Feature films and drama series projects)

The Berlinale Co-Production Market, held during the 71th Berlinale, is currently accepting entries.

The Berlinale Co-Production Market is a five-day event for about 600 international producers, sales agents, distributors as well as broadcasting and funding representatives active in the field of co-production.

This forum is held during the Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale – February 11-21, 2021) – one of the most important film festivals worldwide – and the opportunities for establishing contacts are excellent, as industry professionals from all over the world attend the festival.

Important selection criteria for the feature film projects include: the artistic quality and the production and financing structure of the projects, their suitability for international co-productions and their potential appeal to the attending producers and financiers. Projects with a minimum of 30% of the financing secured and a budget range of 1-20 million are eligible.

For the Co-Pro Series Pitches, producers can submit first season, non-procedural, visually strong drama series or miniseries projects in development for which they are looking for co-production and financing partners.

For complete requirements and eligibility criteria, you can refer to the Co-Production Market website.

Telefilm Canada recognizes selection to this market for application to its Participation to international festivals and events support program.
