The Film Fest Ghent is currently accepting entries for its 2022 edition.
Please note that all films must be submitted directly to the festival.

Eligibility
- Feature-length films must be at least 70 minutes.
- Short films must be no longer than 30 minutes.
- Films need to be a Belgian or Benelux premiere.
- Films must have English subtitles, if not in English.
About
With its focus on the impact of music on film, the Film Fest Ghent has its own unique place in international festivals. The festival presents some 100 features and 50 shorts from across the world.
Film Fest Ghent annually programs up to 15 films for its thematic competition focusing the jury’s and audience’s attention to the creative contribution of the soundtrack/music to the overall effect of a film. An international jury presents the Grand Prix for Best Film and the Georges Delerue Award for Best Soundtrack or Sound Design.
Film Fest Ghent also organizes a competition for international shorts. The jury awards the Best International Short Film Award consisting of a cash grant of €5.000 for the director.
Telefilm Canada recognizes a FEATURE FILM selection in this festival and may provide assistance through the International Promotion Program.
