Program overview
The Promotion Program’s Industry Initiatives Stream provides funding to activities that stimulate demand for Canadian content. Activities include:
- National award ceremonies for film, television or digital media
- Alternative distribution networks
- Conferences, panels and networking events
- Training activities
Who can apply
Canadian-controlled corporations who:
- Have their head office in Canada.
- Work in the film, television or digital media sectors.
Activities must have:
- Received funding under the Promotion Program signed between April 1, 2020 and March 31, 2023.
- Had at least two (2) editions financed by Telefilm.
- Meet the additional eligibility criteria specific to each type of activity.
