Canada Pavilion at the 2017 International Animation Film Market (MIFA)
Under the umbrella of the Canada Pavilion Telefilm Canada, the Canada Media Fund, the Société de développement des entreprises culturelles (SODEC), Manitoba Film and Music, OnScreen Manitoba, Creative BC and the CMPA B.C. Branch are joining forces to promote the Canadian animation industry during the International Animation Film Market (MIFA). The goal of this initiative is to provide increased visibility for our entrepreneurs and to emphasize the importance of the animation industry for Canada.
MIFA is the animation industry’s foremost showcase in terms of co-producing, purchasing, selling, financing and distributing animation content for all broadcasting platforms.
MIFA key figures:
- 2,800 accredited professionals from 68 countries;
- 370 buyers and distributors;
- 530 exhibitors.
Call for entries
Located at the heart of the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, the Canada Pavilion at the MIFA will provide an array of services, discounted accreditation rates and a program of events designed to promote the Canadian industry and talent.
