Canada Pavilion at the 2018 International Animation Film Market (MIFA)

Call for entries

Under the umbrella of the Canada Pavilion Telefilm Canada, the Canada Media Fund, the Société de développement des entreprises culturelles (SODEC), the Talent Fund, Manitoba Film and Music, OnScreen Manitoba, Creative BC and the CMPA B.C. Branch are joining forces to promote the Canadian animation industry during the International Animation Film Market (MIFA). The goal of this initiative is to provide increased visibility for our entrepreneurs and to emphasize the importance of the animation industry for Canada.

MIFA is the animation industry’s foremost showcase in terms of co-producing, purchasing, selling, financing and distributing animation content for all broadcasting platforms.

MIFA key figures:

• 3,000 accredited professionals from 74 countries;
• 430 buyers and distributors;
• 660 exhibitors.

Located at the heart of the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, the Canada Pavilion at the MIFA will provide an array of services, discounted accreditation rates and a program of events designed to promote the Canadian industry and talent.
