CANADA SALES DESK AT THE EUROPEAN FILM MARKET (EFM) 2018

Call for Registrations

(For Canadian International Distribution Companies)

Telefilm Canada is currently accepting registration of Canadian sales companies wishing to join the Canada Sales Desk at the European Film Market in Berlin (EFM), the business component of the Berlinale.

The Canada Sales Desk offers turnkey spaces for distributors complete with furnishings, reception service and wireless Internet access. These spaces will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Canada Sales Desk’s information counter and message center as well as a general meeting space will be at the disposal of all Canadian industry members attending the EFM.

An initiative of Telefilm Canada in partnership with Creative BC, Ontario Media Development Corporation, (Associate Partners), Canadian Media Producers Association, Manitoba Film & Music, Newfoundland & Labrador Film Development Corporation and Screen Nova Scotia (Contributing Partners).

In 2018, Canada will be the ‘Country in Focus’ at the European Film Market. Canadian participants will also benefit from a promotional campaign developed and entirely funded by Telefilm Canada to guarantee the best possible exposure for the invited Canadian films. The complete programming will be announced in January 2018.
