Téléfilm a reçu cette année un très fort volume de demandes au Programme d’aide à la production. Lors de la première ronde, 187 projets ont été évalués sous le volet des productions à petit budget, incluant des coproductions internationales, ce qui représente plus de 106 millions de dollars en demandes de financement.
D’autres décisions de financement, y compris pour les projets du volet des productions autochtones à petit budget, seront annoncées au cours des prochaines semaines. Les statistiques sur tous les films financés durant l’année seront publiées lorsque toutes les décisions de financement auront été prises.
Un comité consultatif composé de représentant.e.s externes et internes a évalué les projets et fait des recommandations à Téléfilm. Le processus décisionnel tenait compte de l’objectif que s’est donné Téléfilm de favoriser la diversité des voix dans l’industrie, en s’assurant de financer un portefeuille de productions équilibré reflétant une variété de genres, de budgets et de tailles d’entreprises, de régions du pays et de points de vue. Les noms des membres du comité de sélection seront publiés sur la page Comités consultatifs pour les demandes de financement des projets lorsque toutes les décisions de financement auront été prises.
