Telefilm Canada would like to remind industry members that the second intake period of the Career Development Initiatives Program will open on November 3, 2026. 

The Career Development Initiatives Program advances the goal of strengthening Canada’s audiovisual industry by supporting the career progression of Canadian and Indigenous professionals nationwide.

Activities with start dates between April 1, 2027, and September 30, 2027, can apply to this program from November 3 to 17, 2026.

Applicants are invited to carefully read the Guidelines, Essential Information Guide and List of Required Documents on the program’s webpage.
