Report on Annual Expenditures for Travel, Hospitality and Conferences
As required by the Treasury Board Directive on Travel, Hospitality, Conference and Event Expenditures, this report provides information on the total annual expenditures for each of travel, hospitality and conferences for Telefilm Canada. It also provides explanations for the main variances from the previous fiscal year in each of these areas.

Travel, hospitality and conference expenses incurred by Telefilm Canada support ministerial mandate and government priorities.
Telefilm Canada supports dynamic companies and creators by providing financial support for Canadian film projects, as well as promoting and exporting Canadian content at regional, national and international festivals, markets and events. Telefilm also administers the funding programs of the Canada Media Fund. Finally, Telefilm is responsible for recommending projects that could be recognized as treaty-based audiovisual co-productions to the Minister of Canadian Heritage.
