Telefilm Canada announces the opening dates for the General Admission Festivals Program and the Medium to Large-Scale Festivals Program 2024-2025
Telefilm Canada wishes to inform industry members of the upcoming opening dates for the General Admission Festivals Program and the Medium to Large-Scale Festivals Program.
Opening dates:
General Admission Festivals Program
- Festivals with start dates between October 1, 2024 and March 31, 2025: April 29 to May 3, 2024
- Festivals with start dates between April 1, 2025 and September 30, 2025: October 28 to November 1, 2024
Medium to Large-Scale Festivals Program
- Festivals with start dates between October 1, 2024 and March 31, 2025: January 2 to 26, 2024
- Festivals with start dates between April 1, 2025 and September 30, 2025: June 25 to July 19, 2024
Key dates and updated Guidelines, Essential Information Guide and list of required documents are now available on each program’s webpage. Other supporting documents will be released in the next weeks.
Applicants are invited to carefully review the changes to both programs before applying.
Reminder
Canadian film festivals are no longer funded through the Promotion Program, but through two separate programs: the Medium and Large-Scale Festivals Program, and the General Admission Festivals Program.
