Telefilm Canada announces updates to its Project Financing team

Telefilm Canada’s Program Strategy and Industry Development department is announcing updates to its Project Financing team.

First, Telefilm is pleased to welcome Myriam Rafla as Regional Feature Film Executive, English Market – Quebec Region. With 25 years of experience, Myriam has held several key positions in the industry, notably in the development and funding of Canadian films. She has also worked as a script consultant and sat on various advisory committees.

Telefilm also welcomes Natasha Howes, who joins the team as Regional Feature Film Executive, English Market – Western Region. Her more than 20 years of industry experience in a variety of roles, including production, development, programming and marketing, will help support and promote Canadian talent.

In addition, after 24 years with Telefilm Canada, Marie-France Godbout, National Director, Feature Film – French Market, will retire at the end of July 2025. We thank her for her passion and for her unwavering commitment to the French-language industry.
