Telefilm Canada announces the launch of its Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility (EDIA) Summary Table of Priority Actions. The measurable outcomes mark an important step in the implementation of the 2026–31 EDIA Plan objectives introduced earlier this spring. 

This Table of Actions delineates how the commitments outlined in Telefilm’s 2026—31 EDIA Plan will be translated into concrete actions, tracked over time, and assessed for impact. 

The Table of Actions is designed to: 

• strengthen clarity and transparency around Telefilm’s commitments to EDIA; 

• support consistent tracking of progress and impact; 

• enable a more data-informed and results-based approach; and 

• foster shared accountability both internally and with industry partners. 

Developed through collaboration across Telefilm and informed by ongoing dialogue with industry partners, the outcomes in the Table of Actions cover the first 18 months of implementation. 

The Table of Actions complements the 2026–31 EDIA Plan and aligns with Telefilm’s broader strategic priorities, including sustainability, official languages, accessibility and Indigenous reconciliation.
