Strong Canadian presence at the San Sebastián International Film Festival

15 September 2014

Montreal, September 15th, 2014—Telefilm Canada is delighted with the strong Canadian presence at the 62nd San Sebastián International Film Festival to be held in Spain from September 19 to 27. Six Canadian films will be presented at the Festival.

This year the Festival will also be organizing a Focus on Canada. A delegation of 12 Canadian producers will take advantage of the various festival activities and participate in the 3rd Europe-Latin America Coproduction Forum, which attracts numerous decision-makers each year.

This initiative by Telefilm and its partners—the Canadian Media Production Association, Manitoba Film & Music, the Ontario Media Development Corporation and the Société de développement des entreprises culturelles (SODEC)—offers the members of the Canadian delegation a unique opportunity to develop their international business network and enhance their knowledge of coproductions with Spanish-speaking countries.
