Telefilm Canada expands eligibility dates for festivals to access the Open Access Stream of the Promotion Program

In extension to the initial announcement of The Reopening Fund – Open Access Stream, Telefilm Canada is expanding the eligibility criteria to support Canadian film festivals across the country that will be held in-person or in a hybrid format that are currently not eligible to access the Reopening Funds under the Limited Edition or the General Admission Streams. 

The Reopening Fund – Open Access Stream will now be open to festivals that occur between April 1, 2022 to June 30, 2022. Festivals that occur between July 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022 continue to be eligible and are encouraged to apply. 

Closing date: February 25, 2022, subject to availability of funds 

All applications must be submitted online by sending an email to promotion@telefilm.ca and must include the completed application form, Eligibility Attestation and void cheque. All applicants are encouraged to read the Guidelines and the Essential Information Guide available on the webpage of the Open Access Stream.
