Statement from Carolle Brabant, Executive Director, Telefilm Canada, in response to Creative Canada

Montreal, September 29, 2017 – “The vision outlined today by Minister Joly will help to ensure that Canada is positioned as a leading player on the global cultural marketplace. I am enthusiastic about the future of the Canadian audiovisual industry and the role that Telefilm will play in it.

“Telefilm Canada’s focus will continue to be innovation, the strengthening of our industry, and the export of Canadian content.

“We will continue working with the Minister and representatives of the Canadian audiovisual industry for Canadian creative talent to remain visible and in demand, and for Canadian content to find audiences on all platforms the world over.”
