Telefilm Canada to fund the production of 29 English- and French-language feature films across Canada

Montreal/Toronto, July 22, 2021 – Telefilm Canada supports the production of 29 English- and French-language lower budget feature film projects from across Canada, with a total investment of over $12 million.

Following the recent release of the financial support of 12 French-language national feature film projects under the Production Program, the announcement of English-language national feature film projects will come at a later time.

As mentioned in previous funding announcements, an Advisory Committee comprised of external and internal representatives evaluated the projects and made recommendations to Telefilm. Names of the Advisory Committee members will be made public once all funding decisions are announced.
