Report on Telefilm’s 2022-24 Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan – A Transparent Look at Our Progress

Telefilm Canada has published a report on Telefilm’s 2022-24 Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan, with a comprehensive review of Telefilm’s journey toward building a more equitable, inclusive and representative audiovisual industry. 

This report reflects the progress made across four strategic pillars and 25 commitments, some of which have been fully or partially achieved, while others remain ongoing or require further development to meet their intended impact.  

Importantly, the findings from this report will inform the development of Telefilm’s third EDI Action Plan, which will evolve into a broader Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (EDIA) Plan, aligning with Telefilm’s 2023–2025 Accessibility Plan and our continued efforts to foster meaningful change.
