Telefilm Canada launches Canadian Movie of the Week series on the Apple TV app
Weekly Campaign Spotlights Canadian Films for $0.99
As audiences continue to consume digital content more than ever due to COVID-19 lockdown restrictions, Telefilm is spotlighting Canadian filmmakers with a new Canadian Movie of the Week series exclusively on the Apple TV app. Each week, one Canadian film will be featured on the Apple TV app and available to rent for only $0.99. The campaign begins Tuesday, March 30 and runs until after Canada Day.
“Discoverability is key to making Canadian filmmakers and their works thrive in an increasingly crowded marketplace,” said Christa Dickenson, Executive Director, Telefilm Canada. “Hosting Canadian Movie of the Week on the Apple TV app makes it easy for viewers to explore Canadian films, from festival favourites to contemporary classics and much more.”
