In addition, Telefilm partnered with the Department of Foreign Affairs & International Trade of Canada (DFAIT) to support the whole Canadian delegation through a complete program of business and networking activities that will take place on site during the event.
In preparation for the events, a business development web seminar was held in January to provide Canadian game developers with market intelligence on emerging trends, business opportunities, a list of contacts and other useful resources.
Since 2008, Telefilm has offered a combination of financial, business development and promotional support to a delegation of Canadian game developers attending the Game Developers Conference and Game Connection America events.
