Early Launch/Call for Applicants for Écrire au Long

Montreal – April 29, 2010 – Telefilm’s Ecrire au long initiative for 2010-11 is calling for applications earlier than in recent years, with a deadline of Tuesday, June 8, 2010.

The Écrire au long initiative is part of Telefilm’s Official Languages Activities Program (OLA-ALO).  It targets Francophone writers and producers working outside Quebec or in Quebec but outside Montreal (150 km or more from Montréal).  This initiative provides an opportunity to those creators to develop market-driven feature film projects and receive high quality training, mentoring and financial support for the development of a phase of their project.

Applications are to be submitted by 5 p.m. on June 8, 2010
