Catherine Émond takes on a new mandate at Telefilm Canada

After closely collaborating with Telefilm Canada’s leadership team during the process that concluded in the Minister of Canadian Heritage and Multiculturalism announcing on May 9, 2019 $7.5 million in new funding to Telefilm Canada in support of Francophone productions in 2019 -2010, Catherine Émond will now undertake a new role.

Over the coming months, Ms. Émond will lead a major strategic project that will optimize the impact of the organization’s actions while also adapting to the significant changes that affect all industry partners. Her experience in developing and implementing innovation, as well as her knowledge of strategic foresight will enable her to successfully meet this new challenge.

Francesca Accinelli, Director, Promotions and Communications, assumes the interim direction of government and public affairs.
