Official statement from Christa Dickenson, Executive Director, Telefilm Canada, on the death of Maurice Boucher

“We were shocked and saddened to learn of the passing of our colleague Maurice Boucher, Director of Communications and Marketing at the Canada Media Fund.

“Telefilm and the Canada Media Fund work hand-in-hand every day in support of Canada’s audiovisual industry. Maurice was a great partner and collaborator, and deeply committed to supporting and promoting Canadian talent around the world.

“His passion and dedication will be sorely missed.

“On behalf of everyone at Telefilm Canada, our deepest condolences go out to his family, friends, and loved ones, as well as the entire Canada Media Fund team.”
