Telefilm Canada launches online survey for training programs across Canada

24 February 2021

February 24, 2021 – As part of Telefilm Canada’s continued commitment to create a more equitable screen-based industry and to better serve Canadian creators, an online survey will be conducted to gather information about training initiatives from across the country, including programs that support traditionally underrepresented creators.

The survey data will be used to inform the future training strategy at Telefilm Canada, from local grassroots initiatives and festival partnerships with streaming partners, to national training schools and post-secondary institutions. Following the industry consultations around the redesign of Telefilm Canada’s Promotion program, this research initiative will provide critical information on the mentorship and training programs, including highlighting gaps that exists, across the Canadian landscape. Furthermore, this initiative will inform the strategic direction of the Promotion Program going forward.

This online survey is available for all mentorship or training programs in the audiovisual industry. The form can accommodate responses of up to five different programs. For more than five programs, please fill out the survey twice or contact us for additional options here.

Feel free to share this survey with your network. All submissions must be completed by March 19, 2021.
