Telefilm Canada’s 2010 Annual Public Meeting -Webcast Now Online

Montreal, December 16, 2010 – Telefilm Canada is pleased to announce that the Annual Public Meeting webcast is now accessible on Telefilm’s website, along with copies of both the presentation and speaking notes delivered by Chair, Michel Roy and Executive Director, Carolle Brabant.

Held in Montreal in 2009, the 2010 Annual Public Meeting travelled to Halifax, Nova Scotia and was broadcast from the historic Sir James Dunn Theatre at the Dalhousie Arts Centre. The auditorium was at capacity with close to 120 in attendance including filmmakers, government representatives and fellow citizens of both Halifax and the surrounding Atlantic provinces.  Over 100 people across the country logged on to watch the live webcast.

Telefilm Canada launched its 2009-10 Annual Report, entitled Daring to Change, following the Annual Public Meeting.
