Telefilm Canada’s Quebec office announces regional closing date for English-language applications for development, low budget and alternative distribution programs for fiscal 2011-2012

Montreal, October 4, 2011 – Due to the large number of Quebec regional English-language feature film applications received, please take note that Telefilm Canada’s Quebec regional office will no longer be accepting new English-language Development, Low Budget Independent Feature Film Assistance and Alternative Distribution applications for the remainder of the 2011-2012 fiscal year, effective October 11th, 2011 (5 PM local time).

Telefilm’s Quebec regional office will accept all completed applications, submitted on or before October 11, 2011.

The opening date for 2012-2013 applications and related information will be communicated later in the fiscal.
