Industry advisory – COVID-19 update

Telefilm Canada takes the health and safety of our clients, partners and employees seriously. As such, we are closely monitoring the current situation with regards to COVID-19. We are closely following recommendations from Public Health Agency Canada and the World Health Organization. Proactive measures are being taken to ensure that our daily operations are not impacted or disrupted.

Telefilm is actively monitoring local and international events in which we participate. Please be assured that we are in contact with these event organizers, and we are assessing the situation daily.  

As of March 4, 2020, no cancellations have been announced, and we will keep you informed of any changes. 

UPDATE:

Following the announcement by Reed MIDEM that MIPTV 2020 has been cancelled due to concerns about the coronavirus (COVID-19), Telefilm Canada is cancelling all activities at the Canada Pavilion.

Following the announcement by Austin city officials that SXSW 2020 has been cancelled due to concerns about the coronavirus (COVID-19), Telefilm Canada is cancelling all activities relating to Canada House.
