Karlovy Vary International Film Festival presents eight Canadian films, including two in competition

Montreal, June 17, 2013 – Telefilm Canada is delighted by the large selection of Canadian films this year at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, in the Czech Republic. The eight chosen titles will include premieres of two films in competition, Finissant(e)s by Rafaël Ouellet and The Manor by Shawney Cohen, as well as recently acclaimed films such as Le Démantèlement by Sébastien Pilote, Stories We Tell by Sarah Polley, Whitewash by Emanuel Hoss-Desmarais and Vic+Flo ont vu un ours by Denis Côté.

Celebrating its 48th edition, the Karlovy Vary Festival is one of the oldest festivals in the world. Over the years, numerous Canadian films have really taken off on the international circuit here.
