Seventeen Canadian films selected for the 6th annual Beijing International Film Festival
Montreal, April 15, 2016 – Telefilm Canada is proud to announce the lineup of 17 Canadian films selected – one of them in the Official Competition – for the 6th annual Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF), April 16 to April 23.
This is the fifth year that Canadian productions have been selected for the Beijing event. Eight Canadian films made the cut last year. A delegation of directors and producers will be on hand at the Festival to represent the Canadian productions.
The Beijing International Film Festival is held under the auspices of the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television (SAPPRFT) of the People’s Republic of China and the People’s Administration of the Municipality of Beijing. The event and competition is organized with the assistance of the SAPPRFT Film Office and the Beijing Municipal Copyright Office.
