Telefilm Canada increases security for Dialogue platform 

In an ongoing effort to increase the security of their systems, Telefilm wishes to inform their clients and partners that effective Thursday June 13, 2024, the two-factor authentication method (also known as 2FA) will now be mandatory for external users who log into the Dialogue platform.

​​​​​​​With this new security standard, once a Telefilm external user logs into Dialogue with their usual username and password, an email from Telefilm Canada (appian@telefilm.ca) will be sent to them, which will include a code for second authentication factor. This will be necessary to complete gaining access to the platform. 

Two-factor authentication provides an extra layer of protection, which greatly reduces the risk of unauthorized access and stolen or hacked passwords. 

This is a process easy to manage and use, and Telefilm is confident that this approach will greatly improve protection of the system and users’ data.
