Telefilm Canada salutes Canadian cinema at 36th annual Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF)
Montreal, August 9, 2011 – Telefilm Canada salutes the Canadian contingent selected for the 36th edition of TIFF, taking place September 8-18, 2011. Of the features, 22 have received Telefilm Canada funding through various programs of the Canada Feature Film Fund.
“TIFF draws thousands from around the globe, providing an outstanding showcase for Canadian cinema,” said Carolle Brabant, Executive Director of Telefilm Canada. “We are proud to see such a diverse lineup that illustrates our rich cultural heritage.”
