Telefilm has announced the 2010-2011 deadlines for project submission to the Theatrical Documentary Program

Montreal – May 10, 2010 – The new deadlines reflect an asymmetrical approach for the English and French markets:

• August 9 , 2010 – French –language submissions
• August 9, 2010 – English – language submissions in Quebec
• September 7, 2010 – English–language submissions for all regions (Western, Ontario & Nunavut and Atlantic)

The Program’s eligibility requirements remain unchanged and can be accessed at www.telefilm.ca

Launched in 2005, the Theatrical Documentary Program is today a unique public-private partnership between Telefilm Canada and the Rogers Group of Funds with the common goal of encouraging the production of Canadian feature-length documentaries for theatrical distribution in Canada.
