The inauguration of the NFB and Telefilm’s shared offices in Halifax  

On November 13th, 2024, The National Film Board of Canada (NFB) and Telefilm Canada warmly welcomed over 50 Atlantic partners, creators and colleagues in celebration of their inauguration of shared offices on 5475 Spring Garden Rd in downtown Halifax.

The sharing of the NFB’s Halifax office, which marks Telefilm’s reopening of a physical office in the city (see photos below), reinforces the roots that both Telefilm and the NFB have established in Atlantic Canada. The new co-habitation of offices between both organizations embodies the spirit of their vision to join forces in an effort to amplify the support they offer to regional cinema, as well as the entire value chain of the sector.

This shared commitment to the Atlantic Canada’s audiovisual industry stems from a shared belief in strengthening the presence of Telefilm and the NFB in the Atlantic region – creating a more sustainable and lasting impact.
