To commercial exhibitors: Theatrical exhibition program reopens September 4, 2018

Toronto/Montreal, August 30, 2018 – Telefilm Canada will reopen its Theatrical Exhibition Program on September 4, 2018. The program aims to encourage commercial exhibitors to increase the visibility of and access to Canadian productions.

Aimed solely at Canadian companies acting as commercial exhibitors, the program provides a financial contribution from Telefilm Canada that can reach up to $ 15,000 per exhibitor, and is evaluated based on the number of eligible Canadian films screened by that exhibitor in the previous year.

From September 4th to October 31st, 2018, Telefilm is accepting applications to all first time appliers. With a simple and streamlined submission process, the application form can be found under Resources on the program page along with the list of eligible films and a calculator of Telefilm’s contribution.
