As of July 5, 2012, a new authentication option is available to you to access eTelefilm

We wish to inform Canada Media Fund and Telefilm Canada clients that starting July 5, 2012, a new authentication option will be available to access eTelefilm.

During the secure online connection procedure to eTelefilm, you will notice that a new page will appear and that two log-in options will be available to you at the bottom of the page: on the left, the authentication option via a new service offered by the federal government: SecureKey Concierge or on the right, the usual authentication process requiring your existing Access Key information.

About SecureKey Concierge
The new SecureKey Concierge allows you to access Government of Canada online services by using authentication credentials you already use for online banking services of certain financial institutions (user name and password) via a fully secure method. No information on your personal identity is shared between the financial institutions and the government during the authentication process.

The federal government is gradually implementing this new authentication service in its federal ministries and agencies, which include Telefilm, in order to make secure access to online government services more user-friendly. Users no longer have to worry about remembering another user name and password.

TD Bank Group, Scotiabank and BMO Financial Group are the first financial institutions to take part in this new government service. Other authentication service providers might soon follow suit.

To use this service to access eTelefilm, you must first contact Line Fillion, by fax (514-283-2648) or by e-mail (line.fillion@telefilm.ca), in order to make the necessary arrangements.

Starting July 5, the choice is yours:

  • Log in with the authentication credentials Access Key you normally use to access eTelefilm (no change)

    or

  • Log in with SecureKey Concierge, namely by using the authentication credentials (user name and password) that you already have for accessing online banking services of TD Bank Group, Scotiabank or BMO Financial Group (note: you must first contact Telefilm)
