Filmography verification period opens for Development Program

As announced on June 17, 2021, the filmography verification period for the Development Program beginning on June 23, 2021, will continue through July 16, 2021.

Clients are invited to log into their Dialogue account and view their filmography under the tab: Records – My Organizations – Filmography. Among other things, this tab allows you to see the projects included in the organization’s performance ratio calculation as well as the weighted performance ratio for each project.

In addition, the Filmography tab shows the total revenues reported for these projects. Please note, however, that only revenues reported before April 23, 2021, are considered for performance evaluation under the Prequalified Stream. It should also be noted that only feature films funded by Telefilm under the Production Program, the Theatrical Documentary Program or the Talent to Watch Program are taken into account in calculating the performance ratio. Furthermore, these projects must have been theatrically released in Canada during the last six calendar years (i.e. between January 1, 2015, and December 31, 2020).

Any errors or irregularities must be reported in writing to the contacts identified on the Development Program webpage by July 16, 2021.

Telefilm will not accept filmography modification requests that seek to change the applicable reference period, the type of films taken into account for the calculation of the performance ratio or the sharing of the previously established project performance ratio.
